UPS Shipping Guide

  1. All orders placed Monday-Friday by 3PM (PST) will ship the same day. Locate the state where the product is being shipped to on the UPS Ground Map to estimate delivery time. Please note, estimation for delivery starts the following business day (UPS does not ship on weekends and Holidays). Overall, UPS delivery times are accurate but UPS does not guarantee UPS Ground deliveries.
  2. Select between 3 day, 2 day or Next day air service using our premier shipping options located in the payment section on the Check Out Cart.

    Your order must be received by 1:30 PM (PST) to go out the same day. Please note, specified delivery times start the day after your product ships.

Return Form

The Return Form was designed with the Customer in mind. The Salt of the Earth believes in expediting the return process for damaged or dissatisfactory goods. When filling out the form below, please be as accurate and specific as possible. Please note; the return process has to be initiated within 30 days of purchase to be valid. To begin the return process, please select from one of the following three choices:

  1. The Product was Damaged during Shipping. (Product was mishandled during transit and arrived damaged at customer location).
  2. The Product was Defective. (The product inside the box was defective and the outer box and the inner box showed absolutely no signs of visual damage or box mishandling).
  3. Customer wants to Return the Item. (Customer is dissatisfied with their purchase for whatever reason and wishes to return the item to receive a refund)

Where does my order ship?

All orders will arrive within 2-6 business days. For customers living on the East Coast, please expect additional time for delivery. Please note, Free Shipping does not include shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Please contact a sales team member for a calculation of these rates.

Who does your Shipping?

In addition to our Northwest warehouse location we have several order fulfillment facilities throughout the United States. We currently use UPS exclusively for shipping orders because we have found them to be most reliable and efficient shippers. They are also able to supply Tracking Numbers so we can keep an eye on your package from the time it leaves our warehouse until the moment it is delivered to your door.

When do Products Ship?

All in-stock products are shipped the same day (order must be received by 3:00 PM otherwise it will go out following business day). Orders received on Holidays and Weekends will ship out the following business day. We use UPS Ground as our shipping provider. Once the order has been received and processed, the customer will receive an email containing a UPS tracking number. Please allow 2-6 business days for shipping.

How is my order packaged?

All rock salt lamps and rock tea lights are wrapped in a moisture resistant plastic bag with fully insulated bubble wrapping and styrofoam corners to protect against lamp movement. The item is secured in a durable brown product box and then placed in a second box for additional shipping protection.

What is the Return Policy?

All products carry a Life Time Guarantee. If items are damaged during shipping, they will be fully insured by our shipping provider and the customer will receive a replacement product straightaway.

In the event the customer is not completely satisfied with their purchase they may return the product for a refund within 30 days of purchase. Please note original packaging must be included to receive a refund. Customers will pay a 10% restocking fee and the return-shipping. Please call 503.238.0422 to obtain a Return Number before mailing any returns.

If the customer wishes to cancel an order, a $10 fee will be assessed for each order number.  To successfully cancel an order, the customer must contact a The Salt of the Earth associate via email or phone before 2 PM (PST) the day the order was placed.  At which time, a representative will contact the person requesting a cancellation and refund their money, minus the cancellation charge.
